Special Characteristics and Challenges |
A new facility to house administrative, manufacturing, and warehousing operations for Compass Wire Cloth, a premier fabricator of industrial screens and wire cloth, had to be designed and built within a timeframe of five months in order to meet the client's growing production needs. A major challenge was in value engineering substantial costs from the project while providing a facility which actually exceeded Compass Wire's requirements. Green components include HVAC units with high SEER ratings and energy-efficient fluorescent lighting in the warehouse and office areas.

"Over twenty years of continuous growth created the need to further expand our fabrication facility and move to the new location in the Vineland Industrial Park. Stanker & Galetto has the design/build capabilities and experience we needed." - Mike McGrath, President, Compass Wire Cloth
