Stanker & Galetto and Compass Wire Cloth
Break Ground for New Facility

VINELAND, NJ (July 24, 2008) – Stanker & Galetto, a leading general contracting firm in Southern New Jersey, hosted a groundbreaking with Compass Wire Cloth of Westville, NJ, for a new 65,000 sq. ft. facility in the Vineland Industrial Park. Stanker & Galetto is providing the design/build services for this project, with completion scheduled for December. Vineland Mayor Robert Romano; members of Vineland City Council; Jim Lelli, Executive Director of Vineland's Office of Economic Development; Mark D'Onofrio, Secretary/Treasurer, and Kevin Moran, Project Manager, of Stanker & Galetto; Mike McGrath, Sr., President, and Robert Abate, Vice President, of Compass Wire Cloth; David Hanrahan, CEO, and Joseph Rehm of Capital Bank; and Jeff George and Dennis Palmer, Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, participated in the  event.


The new facility nearly doubles the size of Compass Wire's current location in Westville and will house both administrative and manufacturing operations. Construction plans include Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) components.
